4 Ways to Keep Up With Your Health as a Busy Person

Life as a working class person can be a nightmare, whether you are a single person or married. In the midst of all this we can forget to keep our health in check, which is why I highlighted these 4 tips to keeping up with your health as a busy person.

- Making Your Health and Fitness a Priority: When we have full time jobs, it's easy to forget that we have to exercise and keep fit because we make it always make it about the job. We forget if anything happens to us we are REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. So why we are worried about our jobs, we should neglect our health. Try things like Indoor 5 - 10 mins exercise before going into the bathroom and hiking during the weekends. This does wonders for not only your physical health, but also your mental health.

- Plan & Stock up on Healthy Foods: This is an area were even I default in unfortunately. But lately, I've tried to work on it by at least cooking during the weekend and stock up for the week. So take sometime on the weekends to have then made.

- Find ways to Exercise on the Go: As a busy person finding time to exercise can be a very tasking thing. So you can try taking walks when you get home especially if if you come home early. At work try walking around at least once ever two hours so you don't have to be sitting at the desk for so long. When you wake up, try to do 10 mins of cardio work before you shower and during the weekend, try to do at least an hour of work out. If you living in hilly areas like Abuja, try Hiking once in a while. It does wonders how your physical and mental health and at the same time provides you with a sense of adventure.

- Surround Yourself with Like Minds Who Keeps You Positive: “Sometimes it’s better to end something & try to start something new than imprison yourself in hoping for the impossible.” – Karen Salmansohn. This quote is reflects on the idea of letting toxic people go from your life, and either focus on the healthy relationships you have or develop new ones that help you grow as a person. You know who treats you poorly, you know who tear you down instead of building you up. What you may not know, is how to let go of these toxic people from your lives. You need to understand that you have the power to remove these toxic people from your life because it's about what's healthy for you and their unwillingness to change these bad attitude. There are many ways to do this. You can cut them out directly and giving them a reason why you took that action or it may be gradual . You can do this by reducing the amount of time you spend with this person and the frequency at which they contact you. Now focus your energies on the people that you want in your life and those that you may have had there all along, but did not appreciate.
